carpet glue

Have some carpet trying to come up and need some glue. Guy at West Marine said be carefull of what you use as some dry's hard and is a pain to remove when you need to replace the carpet.

i used the 3m spray from wal-mart, spray both sides, let dry, then push together.... worked like a champ for 4 years in my boat.

I agree, 3m adhesive works great, have used for years on carpet recovering seat's, and new trailer bunks....

I use mean green spay glue for Carpeting Speaker boxes. Any Car Audio shop will have it or an equivalent! Spray both sides and let dry like contact cement. Problem solved!

green spray and 3m is the same thing, just 3m is cheaper I believe.

I just know you gotta be careful what type of 3M you grab. I got something from Home De-pot in a crunch one time and was like using hair spray! lol 3m 777 it was i believe?
