Fit - maybe this this will be the perfect "excuse" for us to actually get together.

Once I know for certain the organizations are bought in, we'll have to select a venue... I think that is going to be the toughest part - finding reasonable water with good accommodations for boating / staging / eating, etc. that is not too far from where the kids will be traveling from.

Once I see where exactly the kids will be coming from, I will reach out for help.

I figure it might be great to break this down into smaller parts:

venue and logistics
sponsors
tow-boat owners and logistics
general event logistics

I am looking for a kids organization to work with after the one I had lined up fell through.

I have sent messages to many people asking for ideas and looking for affiliations, but am getting no responses.

Any ideas on how to find a kids organization through non-traditional routes would be fantastic!
