tower pin and tige touch cannot control light

I have a 2010 RZ4 with alpha Z tower, I found the pins which lock the tower in position is very loose. It will move from lock position to unlock when the boat is in moving. Any suggestion to solve it.
The tigetouch cannot control the navigation , anch and docking lights. I have to turn them on from the emergency button under the dash. Any idea? THX

I don't have an answer for you other than, that should all be covered under your warranty. I would contact your dealer and get the ball rolling to get those issues fixed.

I replaced the wafer-thin ebbed stripping between where the tower comes together with some thicker, auto/marine weather stripping from home depot. This helped snug it up.

Check the fuse in the panel under the helm. It is likely a 5a or 10a fuse.

as far as the tower pin is concerned, I am pretty sure if you remove it, you can adjust an allen bolt on it. Also make sure the big screw that the tower rotates on is tight as than can be a source of alot of rattling when hitting choppy water or crossing the wake after a u turn

I had the same problem with the tower, and I noticed that the two slotted screws - there is one on each side - on the inside of the tower (they are located at approximately the pivot point) were in different positions, I think that these screws act as adjusters for the tower. On the side that the handle was loose, the set screw was in about a half inch more than on the other side, so I turned the screw out to the same position as the tight side and it tightened the loose handle (it also loosened the tight handle side).

I hope that this helps. I haven't had the boat on the water since I made this adjustment, but the handle tension is much better.

I also had a problem with the navigation lights tripping the breaker, the ballast pumps blowing a fuse, and the cruise control not working. When the dealer fixed the lights, they also fixed the ballast pump and the cruise control. Apparently it was a short from a wire to the ballast pump.

You may want to have the dealer check for shorts in the wiring or trace the wires yourself. My courtesy lights quit working in the rear of the boat, and when I checked them, two of them were not connected, the wire connectors had come apart.

Fold tower and look down from the top in the hole where that knob goes. there is a small set screw you tighten with a small flat blade screwdriver. Make small adjuments and you will feel it getting harder to take the knob out. It does not take much.

              Thank you for that info!!

What are the slotted pins for at the hinge area? Are they actually the hinge or an adjuster?

Just a hing pin no adj. Just tighten them and check them every so often.

I'd have your dealer check - but if you wanted to look quickly, under the dash is the Medallion system, large black case - just left of my manual switches. You can check each individual fuse by removing the black cover - each blade fuse slot is labeled. I would they would all be separate, so its hard to believe that they all shorted.

pzbilly, your all of the light should be able to be turned on through the touch. I have a 10 RZ4 and all light turn on through the touch. On a side note I just had my TigeTouch updated with the latest software. It functions alot better and easier.
