    wow....

    there is always a bad boat/car in every lot. Guess I have just been lucky and my Tige's were great, and my GM cars and trucks are amazing.

    each to their own, that's what's great about being in a "free" country, (free for now...).

      Wow... what a whiney bi*ch! LOL. I feel sorry for whatever brand you move too. I'm sure Tige is about as happy to move away from you as you are from them.

      Before you start in on the personal attacks you may note that the majority of Chp's posts are helping fellow boaters get their boats back on the water.

      FYI, a friend of mine that's a CC dealer has a customers boat that hasn't seen a lake for anything other than water test in a year and has gone through 2 motors and 1 tranny. It's now tied up in court as CC told him to kiss a$$. Point being, everyone has their problems!

      But good.... he's gone now, so now we can all make fun of him! Yayyyy
      Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

        So if you don't care why did you even bothering posting all that stuff?

        And like opinions just like but holes every one has one and they all stink. But here is mine you just come across sounding childish and immature but hey go rant a whine away boats break not just Tiges but they ALL do. So do cars and everything else for that matter, and some more then others if it becomes a PITA get rid of it. All this talk of I have driven more boats then any one here blah blah blah just reminds me of little kids arguing that my dad is stronger then your dad.

          Just for the record. Fortes is not the dealer working on the boat. We did not make the first repair on the boat either.The boat moved out of Fla. We would help Gary in any way we could and wish the boat was here so that we could make sure it got fixed. I 100% believe this is an odd ball case and with out question is not a normal thing to have problems like this with a Tige. But it does happen its all about getting it fixed and moving forward IMPO.             I think GStuffer is the neighbor you sell a house that you love just to get away from...and don't regret it.

            It's one thing to rant and whine, I was actually feelin' his posts until that last one. Calling out people who are altruistic and knowledgable is just childish. Lost any respect or empathy I had for him at that point.
            Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

              I too am sorry you are having these problems, for I am the one who sold you the boat and knows what it feels to have failures. That was my experence with my 2001 pro air nautique, when the ballast didnt work and I called the factory and they said it wont fill unless your moving and making a left turn, so I modified it my self so it fill at the dock, next with 25 hours and my brother was down visiting and when I pulled him up to ski the engine cut out and wouldnt go over 15mph because a preasure switch failed on the engine , that blew that weekend.
              Next my speedometer and tach became impossible to read so I had to replace them under warranty , no problem of course I did all the work because the nearest dealer was 2.5 hrs away, no problem except 40hrs later they failed again but this time the guages they sent were a different color which didnt match my other guages, so I called the factory and they said thats the way it is they dont make my color anymore, so also asked how much do these guages cost so as to have an idea what it would cost me when out of warranty, 200.00 each , my jaw dropped.
              Some of the lesser problems were decals graphics coming off and upolstery going bad even though I treated that boat with tender loving care , so 2 years and 380hrs later I sold it have never looked back , so I know how you feel, and im there for you if I can help.

                OH BY THE WAY OUR ABOVE ^^^^^ CC HAD A CRAPPY WAKE JUST MY ON THAT...I NEVER WAKE BOARDED BEHIND IT CUZ IT SUCKS TO ME but that has nothing to do with this.

                  Since he is no longer responding, I will just address the forum.

                  No need for me to reread his original thread, I remember it well. I simply asked if he had gotten the boat back and was able to salvage some of his Summer. I made a simple comment that Tige uses some of the same components that others use, so this could have happened with any boat and I got flamed. it's the internet, big deal.

The best thing Tige’ could ever do w/ this forum is to wipe the slate clean and start over w/ post counts and put the “PW Masters” in their place. That's fine, as I let the content of my posts speak for me, as i'm sure the content fo yours is screaming about him. and yes, I do sometimes ruffle a few feathers with my opinions. You know, the opinions he states he has the right to post here. Anyone is free to state their opinion, you just need to be prepared for a reaction that is not the one you wanted. Again, it's the internet, dont take it personal and dont go away butt-hurt.

                  Yes the boat will be fixed and it will be for sale as soon as it is. After it sells I will go back to Correct Craft w/out hesitation regardless of what you think. I think that sounds like a great plan, but I do not understand why he waited two more years with a boat, and boat company, he so clearly despised

                  Since you love the Tige’ brand so much you can come up and pick it as soon as it’s ready. If you are suffering from a “weak moment” or have “fallen off your rocker” (my opinion only) and want a Tige’ I am sure it will still be setting here waiting to sell because it is a Tige’. I would own his boat in a heartbeat!

                  I don’t care what you think about any brand no one should be going through issues like this a 2nd time let alone the 1st time (take the time to read my very 1st post on T.O.) w/ any 2008 boat w/ less than 100hrs on it. I agree, but chit does happen. One thing we do know for sure is that the dealer that made the first trans swap did install the trans linkage backwards and then either them or he tried to pass it off as being that way from the factory. If you go back and reread his original thread, he states the boat was return with an extremely tight shifter. The result was due to the mis-installed linkage. Problem is, it didnt get stiff until AFTER the trans was replaced the first time. Seems to me it was one more reason to direct more anger at Tige, not the one that did the incorrect repair.

                  So what if I decided to rant or whine. I purchased a Tige’ so right, wrong, or indifferent I still have a right to my opinion whether you like it or not so I guess you will have to get over it. And so do the rest of us, but flaming the other members for not jumping on you band wagon and taking up your cause is hypercritical. He has a right to voice his opinion, why cant the rest do the same in response

                  I am not trying to solve anything through this forum I just wanted to have a rant and whine or whatever mostly just to get a rise out of you “Tige’ Zealots “ because it is fun.

                  You also do not have to be sorry about what I think about my boat. You are not Tige’ or Marine Power you are just dudes on a forum page. Why do you have to be sorry? (“Caveat Emptor”) I made my choice and now I am living with it but it does not mean I have to keep my mouth shut if I am not happy just to make you happy. Not sorry about what he thinks, just sorry that his boat has not lived up to his expectations

                  I am over it and I am done w/ the T.O. forum and site. The best thing that could happen for me is to be banned from this forum. I will not be back. I could not care any less about what you think of me or what you have to say in response.
                  I hope the members of the CC site treat you better when you flame CC when something breaks.

                            Great response. I wish all dealers were like you guys. Many of the ones I have spoken too in the last year appear to be but the closest being 6 hours away sucks. And that one is not responsive
