    TAPS does not work

    Hi,

Taps does not work anymore on my 2010 RZ2. Any idea where the issue can come from? If it is the fuse, could you let me know where the fuse is located? Thanks for some help. The Taps is blocked on 8 so it is OK for wakeboarding but not at all for water skiing.

I'm not sure about the new boats, but on the older boats there was a green wire going to the back of the gauge... it comes from the throttle if you trace it back. Sometimes the nut on the back of the gauge would work loose and the wire wouldn't make full contact. Causing TAPS to stop working.
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

Go to set up and calibrate the tap first

Stupid question, but you did verify that the motor isnt running and the plate isnt moving?

Motor humming but no plate movement could mean stuck plate

No motor hum could indicate tripped breaker or blown fuse.

motor runs, plate moves, but gauge doesnt could just be a loose connection on the back of the gauge.

The issue was with the motor. Problem has been fixed by the dealer. Thank you for your feedback.

Not really, however seems to be an electrical issue in the motor. But I have had the same issue today. My dealer will change the motor as soon as he receives a new one.
