    I lost my wakeboard!

Please help me out as much as possible. On saturday august 7th I was out in lake havasu with my friends family, it was really windy/choppy. Well half way through the day I realized my wakeboard had disappeared (fallen out) at some time. Im hoping (unlikely ) that someone picked it up or has maybe seen/heard something. Its a brand new 2010 hyperlite with white boots, it was only the 3rd trip since I got it for my birthday. Please if you can help me in whatever way you can, I really appreciate it.

Txmxer, that same thing happened to me at Havasu last year. My brother was driving the boat by himself back to get something at the Hotel and didn’t see it fall off but did notice it was gone shortly after. He turned around and started driving back and saw way off in the distance a big yellow boat pick it up and take off. He tried to chase them down but they took off really fast and my brother lost site of them and we never saw the boat again that weekend. We drove all over the place that weekend. Really sucked. You can go to the marina and check lost and found, it didn’t work for me but you never know

yeah its such a bummer, it was so choppy that day and we didnt even go far we were circling near a cove and the main part of the lake waiting to meet some other friends, then we went to london bridge so we wouldnt have to go through the chop. I noticed by then and felt like it would be pointless to go search as it could have been lost anywhere and with so many boats someone must have picked it up. I guess ill have to see, and hope for the best. Its a long shot though.

I know how you feel I love my board, it caught my eye as soon as I walked into the shop. Matched our boat, and looked sweet.

I searched ebay and craigslist...nothing. If any of you hear through the grapevine that a friend or friend of a friend found a board please let me know.

I assume the bungie failed to allow the board to fall off the rack, did the knot come untied or did it just break? Just curious how to avoid future board loss.

I think it just broke...to be honest I didnt really check as I had already hopped on a sea doo when I noticed. It was not a normal rack...it was a phat tower on a friends chaparral boat so it wasnt the kind that you see on the tiges. Id say as long as your board is in the rack and the bungee is tied (on our boat we dont even do that and the boards dont bounce at all), and just keep an eye on your boards every once in a while when your in conditions that will cause your boat to bounce around.

Also I highly recommend finding a permanent way to put your name and phone number on your wakeboard somewhere, that way if you lose yours and an honest person finds it they can contact you.

I have checked every single craigslist listing in arizona, and checked ebay. There is no hope of getting this board back....it may still be out on the lake...who knows.
