    Rub Rail

    Sup yall,
Well, after a nice day out on the lake yesterday I came in a little hot when putting the boat on the trailer. Wind was a little bit of a factor, but I should have been able to do a better job.

Well, I was able to use my rub rails for the first time. I hit the trailer guide posts and now I have a long white mark on two spots of the rub rail. It is basically the paint off of the guide post. Any ideas on how to get this off?? Looks pretty bad considering it is a big white mark, it really stands out.

    Thanks!!

Try running it into a black guide post

Goof Off might work for something like that

      Acetone does the trick.

I did the same thing when we first got our boat. I used acetone on a rag, and it came right off. Went back over it with some Mother's Back to Black, and looks good as new.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will go with the Acetone method vs. the hitting a black guide post
