10 days and a wake up

well guy's i'm am sorry to say that i am leaving tige watersports after 10 years of service. my last day is july 9th. i will be leaving the industry and hoping to return to this site as a tige owner someday. my new hours and drive time will not allow me as much time to watch this site. i will check in from time-to-time to see what is going on.

i can't tell you how much of a thrill and honor it has been working here at TWS. this is probably the best crew you could ever deal with. to all of the tige watersports customers out there, you will be left in good hands.
chris(topher)thompson has been my lead tech and go-to-guy for 8 years and will do a hell of a job for you, he has more time in the tige's than i do. i spent 2 1/2 years in the office while he was out wrenching in the shop. i will definitley miss working with him.

well, i gotta get to work now.

Good luck with your change! I've been comforted that if I had an unfixable problem that I could find someone who could give some advice on what to do. I can tell you have worked hard to become knowledgeable and hope that Tige can find someone half as well spoken to troll these boards to correct us and give instruction.
            Be excellent to one another.

Greg: Sorry to hear you're leaving. My friend Eddie Lekkerkerk gave me a Greg's phone number to call if I have any mechanical problems. He had a red 01 21V. Do you recall the name? Also, before you go, 2 questions: 1) I am getting an intermittent squeeking/screeching while driving. It sounds like a pulley bearing going out, but I took it took to Corona and they replaced the idler pulley, but it still does it and not just when it gets wet. Any thoughts?2) Is is possible for me to change the oil and fluids at home without having high-dollar equipment to do so?

                Thanks for your input!

you can change everything yourself, but it helps to have a oil sucker for the v-drive and transmission.
yea, i know eddie, he's one of the nicer guy's out there. i went to his house to help with a couple of problems he had.
the noise your having has got to be a pully. remove the belt and turn each pully, listen to each one. they should be whisper quiet.

Greg: Are you interested in coming out to my house to do some work on my boat? I live about 5 minutes from Eddie.

Greg, I know we talked about this at the office, but I had to get it out there. You are HUGE part of why this dealership has done so well. Your ability to connect with the customer has always amazed me. Over the years I have always been able to look to you for anything, from fixing my glasses to tracking down who’s been into the pumpkin pie. It will never be the same here. But I don’t know anybody who deserves bigger and better things more than you do. While it breaks my heart to see you go, I am so happy for you. I have really enjoyed working with you as well as growing up with you.
                        Good Luck.
                        H.
Enjoy a good laugh. Even at your own expense.

Sorry to see you go but I surely hope this doesn't mean you won't be monitoring and posting. I never talked with you directly but certainly read several of your posts and appreciate the knowledge that I have gained. Your are obviously highly respected for what you do. Best of luck in your new venture.
This also now means that Lee will now have to become a tad bit more vocal and post more than 2 words at a time. Somebody has to pick up the slack!!

                            Greg,
Congratulations on your tenure at Tige Watersports, you are a large part of the reason there are so many Tige owners in Southern California, I know also when I was at Tige your input and feedback was invaluable in helping us refine and evolve the product.
Well done and all the best for your future.
Say hi to Chris, Tom and Daniel for me.
