    Online Tige parts?

Can anyone recommend an online dealer to order parts for our boats. I prefer to order online and usually you can get a better price on parts. Does such a place exist in the Tige world?

If it is Tige specific, you will need to go through a Tige dealer. If it is something Tige bought and put in the boat, i.e. VisionAire Chair, you will need to find the manufacturer and see if they sell it retail or have vendors who do.

Between all of us here, we have at one time or another ordered most anything. So the site is a good resource for what you are looking for. Just post up what you need and chances are that someone knows how to get it.

Let the forum know what you seek and I'm sure someone will know a source for it. And yes, some items will be Tige specific.

I am seeking two things. One is the center cap for my steering wheel and the second is a speedo guage. I need to post a pic of the guage.

For a center that was labeled "Tige" you would need to get from dealer, if it's still available. Or, if you can figure out the manufacturer of the wheel, you may be able to order a blank replacement.

What year and boat do you have and what gauge set do you have? Faria for example, offers either a 10 yr of life-time warranty and will repair for a "handling" fee.

Gator Grip is also a good material to use. It's more of a DIY project as it comes in a bulk roll and has to be cut to fit, but it's good stuff.

Could I use that Gator Grip on my above ground pool ladder steps?

Probably. Go to wakejunky.com (they call it Gator Grip) or airjunky.com (Traxx - same stuff) and look at their galleries. Maybe some others have already done it. Basically, just think of attaching a piece of foam rubber with adhesive to a surface. If the surface is reasonably smooth, it should work.

Edit: just went to airjunky.com, and they do not sell it anymore. But their gallery is still up for viewing.

Definately SeaDek on the swim platform. That is one of the best upgrades I have made to my boat.

                            ajholt,

What color combo is that, I'm going to order that stuff for my RZ. Unrelated, how do you tie down the transom on the trailer, is there enough room to slip a strap between the transom and platform? It looks like a PITA.

It is Storm Grey over Black. My tie-downs fit between the transom and platform real easy. I even cover the straps with the furry seatbelt covers from wal-mart to keep them from rubbing the gelcoat.
