Nice pics, congrats! Nothing like picking up a new boat. When I took mine home I woke up twice that night to go and check on it to make sure it was still there (and not part of the dream I just woke up from).

P.S. - Make sure you get the foam pads for the guide posts before you put it in the water. I also noticed that you don't have transom tie downs on there, are the pics before those were installed or do you not have them?
Brandon, the dealer, said he'd get me some foam pads for the guide posts and I could just pick them up next time I was close to the dealership. I didn't ask why they weren't there, and it's not too big of a deal. We were able to load and unload it this weekend without any problems.

Brandon didn't mention anything about transom tie downs, and I've never used them. I pulled an '03 Gekko for 6 years and never tied the transom down, and never had a problem. Maybe I was just lucky, but are they really necessary? If so, I'll get some.

Also, thank you to everyone for the compliments!! I'm extremely excited and this boat is such an upgrade over my old ride, it's ridiculous. I love it.

Home base is near College Station. I actually live out in Grimes County about 25 minutes east of Bryan/College Station. I'll sometimes head over to Gibbons Creek (small fishing lake) during the week, but on the weekends we'll head over to Lake Somerville and sometimes Lake Bryan (small utilities lake).

Yes you should always use transom tie-downs.

This past weeked i saw a guy coming to the ramp and notice his boat was all crooked on the trailer and also notice he did not use transom tie-down, he had to put his boat in the water to level it out then pulled it back out and off he went. I am assuming he hit a bump and that is what through it off. But yeah i also agree you should always use transome tie-downs.

I would use transom tie-downs on ski boats especially since they have a relatively flat bottom, and if they get crooked or bounce around on the road you could damage the prop, rudder, prop shaft and tracking fins.

Sweet boat - we had a 2006 22 Ve with the same color scheme. Good decision and Congrats on your new Tige.

In the water at Canyon Lake:

My 9 year old son trying to wakeboard and my wife in the water cheering him on since he got up (for a few seconds at least). We'll officially say he was the first person to ever wakeboard behind the new boat:

This is how his wakeboarding "runs" were ending about 5-6 seconds after getting up. He just couldn't quite figure out how to balance on the board, but we'll have him up and boarding before the end of the summer:

My six year old daughter wanted to give it a try, but she didn't have much success. We'll keep trying with her:

My 11 year old neice wakeboarding for the first time ever...I love the smile on her face:

My 9 year old neice also got up and learned to wakeboard last weekend. That makes two (and a half) new wakeboarders:

My brother-in-law getting a little air:
