    Vision Air in 2000 21V

I would like to install the Vision Air after sitting in one at Tige Watersports and my wife really likes the flip up bolster. Does anyone have any experience installing one of these seats? Will I need a new post or could this seat bolt right on to my existing post?

Should be the same size pedestal, but if its not you can always change the pedestal out for a taller/shorter one that fits your needs. It should slip right on to your exisitng pedestal and simply tighten the handle.
You do realize those are very expensive chairs? Be prepared for the sticker shock.

Thanks for the info. The best price I saw was $549.99.

Unless its coming from Tige or a Tige dealer it sounds like you are ordering a similar chair from Attwood also called the vision air. The chair you saw in a Tige is specially made for Tige boats and looks a little different from the aftermarket chair. The aftermarket chair has the arm rests wrapping around the back and it will not have Tige logo embroidered on the back. I also read some strange reviews on the non-Tige chair dealing with breakage and the overall quality issues. I bought mine to upgrade my stock 05 22i seat, when I traded the boat in I took my Vision air seat with for my new boat, not one issue and a solid 250 hours of use in that chair. I would definately try and locate a Tige chair.

Just had my interior redone and installed a VisionAir. In three words, it is great. Much cooler than sitting surrounded by hot vinyl. I ordered mine from iBoats. Matches almost exactly. You will be very pleased except for the price. You just take the hardware off the bottom of your old seat and install it on the new one. I wrapped two layers of
3/4 inch marine plywood in grey carpet to raise mine a little. A lot less expensive than a new pedestal and you cant see it. Cool looking and cool feeling. I will try to post pics later. You won't regret it.
