    Wood look wraps?

I was just looking at an antique wood boat website and got to thinking, would an RZ2 look good with a wrap that fakes a wood boat look? I haven't seen it tried, I might try to convince my wife in a few years to do it when the vinyl decals peel off. I'll have my brother try to photoshop something to get an idea and I'll post it whenever he gets back to me.

The only reason I think it might be possible is looking at the graphics on my 2007 Ronix frontier wakeboard, many of my friends think it is real wood.

There's an Epic boat out there with a wood wrap on it to make it look like a pirate ship, it's pretty cool IMO. It was done right!

I think he said in the thread that was a paint job. Looks awesome though... I saw a snowboard last year with a very nice looking wood grain and wondered how it would look on a boat. Could be pretty slick and original if done right.

I was thinking about a paint job or vinyl on the side cutout on the RZ2 which might look like the exposed wood grain I have seen on some snowboards as well. I'll put more serious effort into it when the OEM decals peel off, I was just thinking out loud on this forum, wondering if y'all thought it would be cool/dumb or to see if it had been played out.

I think it would look incredible if you had a really good wrap done. I love the old wood boats.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Wood is good! That would look sick. That Epic looks sick and I don't even like them. It makes me want to do it.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I saw a new Nautique at the Tige dealer in Hayden, ID, and it has some wood on the deck and looked gorgeous. It is a classic closed bow ski boat. Then I was looking at the tige wrap program websit and got to thinking about doug one someday. I think it would look pretty cool.
