Underwater light removal

Ok took boat out to clean and repair the underwater transom light. I assume that since it is hexagon that it unscrews, just wanted to check before I tackle it

Can you see behind it at all? if you look down into the bilge. should give you an idea.

I got it...
The cover is screwed on then there is what looks like a MR16 lamp; wattage? with a snap ring holding it in.

Somebody needs an FAE.

If he put an FAE on then his light wouldn't do much. That's an odd location for the light but maybe that's how they used to do it.
