Those new BU's look kinda cool I guess, but they dont give me the chills when I look at them like the Tiges do!

Bu looks like they are trying way to hard to keep up. Instead of improving the base, its like that are trying to add too much.

Towers look like garbage, they have taken a step back since the illusion x, bad move by them letting that go.
Interior looks alright I guess, nothing special, not digging the multiple huge screens. Only way I would dig them is if they were those sick Garmin ones, that would be cool.
The one bu I rode behind did not impress me, granted it was an 03, but the wedge is just stupid. Cool Idea, but have a buddy who was on one when it twisted halfway off....

thinking in terms of forces, the wedge should take away from a surf wave...and thats what I Care about.

Apparently, the Tigé photographer thinks every photo looks better if the camera is slightly rotated or theyare ****-eyed.

I am not digging most of the colors and gel coat schemes in the photos. However, the ability to do the different color towers is awesome and should allow for plenty of desirable color combos.

Boats look really cool...but the graphics suck. Not a fan of the In-Your-Face hip-hoppish schematics they got going on. Definitely alienating their older fan base...gimme a sideways ball cap and the graphics would fit right in.

I do like the Z1, a fan for a reason , but I am not sure about the graphics. To hit on the photo complaints, I wish they had a side profile picture of the Z1 because I can't tell what the front decal looks like with the back in any of those pics. I am sure it is like the Yellow and Black RZ decal, but would like to see them together.

I like the new color match Alpha Z towers - and the white rubrail option. Looks like speakers definitely can come in white - but unsure from the pictures if they come in the other colors (would be nice).

We love our 2010 - but here is my future Tige Features Wish List:
-More rub rail color choices (adding white is a start).
-Bow anchor storage in the RZ's (like MC)
-Passenger helm locker door redesign on the Ve - needs to lift higher or something
-Skinable Tige Touch to match boat colors
-Keep Stereo, Tige Touch, and Medallion system on when switching key from On to Accessory. Sometimes it continues to fill ballasts, other times not - annoying.
-Auto-Volume control with speed when boarding/add volume level to Tige Touch Profiles
-Taller Alpha Z Tower (maybe sell two sizes if some people need the lower clearance)
-Integrated Alpha Z Tower Camera (HD, rope tracking of course)
-More Alpha Z board rack spots (taller tower would give room)
-More tightly integrated Bimini with the Alpha Z - maybe something that would allow for flat surf board storage above it

As far as photographs go - our current boat was in Wakeboarding Mag, BoatTest.com, etc - and the photos never really got it right. I know I saw some comments on here about the pictures of it and the dislike of the color combo. When people see it in person, we always get compliments on how good/sharp it looks - but in photos, its tough to really show how awesome it is; I imagine some of these 2011 color combos are the same way.

Interesting that Malibu kept their existing LCD and added a Touch like Tige. Might be nice when you have a Tower Cam running. Their pictures definitely don't flatter their interior fit & finish.

Ummmmm, guys a white rubrail has been available forever. My 06V has one.

I asked Ben to leak me some photos of the 20' picklefork. This was his response.

"We love you guys on tigeowners, but we have worked waaayyyy to hard to let something leak. The rumor is that the boat is ending the factory and about to complete. We really want to show it off right, so it will be in the studio ASAP. We would be heart broken if crummy photos where out.

It is the best looking boat i have ever seen tooled at Tige. I used to think the Z1 was our sexiest boat, this blows it out of the water! Honestly, never been so proud. Also a ton of room. Wish i could send you a pic of the east coast rep mark gibbs and I drinking beer in the bow in the assembly line. (after hours lol)"

That's awesome! Tony Fussel is going to be at the WWS Tige Owners reunion this weekend, maybe he will have a pic for us on his phone or something....hopefully!

haha. So your saying there is a lot of room up there.

J/K I don't know if your big guys or not.

So it's not just a scaled down RZ? Cool. IMO, the Z1 is the best looking Tige on the water. RZ's are close but the Z1 is just a bit more refined looking. So, maybe like a cross between the Z and the RZ? RZ shape with Z styling?

When do we see a Z3? I really have fallen for the Z and think that it should replace the VE. They just have beautiful lines and would seem the logical replacement for the Ve. I'm thinking of a Z for my next boat. I really like the RZ's but, there is something about the Z that keeps me asking myself if I could rock one. Hell ya I'd rock one!
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Do we have an idea of where this boat will fall in terms of pricing? Will it be above or below the Z1 in the lineup?

I'm in the market for a Z1 but prob not until March or April. I think this boat if priced below the Z1 might be a better fit for me
and the garage at our river house which is 21.5' exactly.

My wife and I have a 3yr old boy and a 1yr old boy and would rarely have more than 6 on the boat including the kids so I'm thinking a slightly shorter boat might be easier for my wife to handle next summer while I'm teaching my oldest to wakeboard/surf. I would expect that with the pickle fork design it may have nearly as much seating room as the Z1 if not more.

I can't wait to see the pics!

I have a pic of the rz0. goes to the highest bidder. Got a pic of it and my boat parked right next to it. It is going to be a nice addition and from the sounds of it the surf wake is next to killer.
