    2009 Ve Demo Price

Found a dealer demo with 10 hours, 2009 22Ve with alpha z tower. Its a pretty basic boat, 343 engine, only has standard stereo, no tower speakers or amps, single battery, no ballast, no bimini, no board racks but everything else is brand new and has full warranty available. It also has the trailer and stainless steel cupholders tige speed set cruise and fiberglass swim platform.. Whats it worth do you think?

Don't know yet, just curious what would be a good starting point.

Yes it has the tige speed set cruise and a fiberglass swim platform. It's located in the Midwest.

Without research I would guestimate mid 40's since it is basic package. Does it have at least Speedset or other speed control? Any options? Teak or Fiberglass platform?
Tige put their own speed control in their 06 boats and to my knowledge you cannot order one without it. The speedset was one of the major problems I had with my O6 22V. It was hit and miss whether it would set the speed or not. I would like to see Tige give the buyers a choice for their Speed Set, Stargazer or Zero off. I can guarantee you if I bought a new Tige I would choose anything but the Speed Set. I have Stargazer on my Avy and have only had two minor issues that were fixed within minutes in the last two seasons. I lost contact with the satelite or so it said.

Are you serious? $71,000 for a 20V? That is highway robbery.

With a dealer demo, you will get a good deal since it will come with the factory warranty but it will be a little more beat-up than a new boat. Check out the NADA used boat price for the model you are looking at, it will give you a pretty fair starting point.

There is no way in hell I would ever buy a dealer demo in my area.I see the sales guys every weekend (all brands, not Tige though) beating the SHEEEEEIIIT out of the boats, partying at the sandbar, just getting nuts on the "demo" boats. I'd pass on those personally. Yesterday the Axis guys had 2 boats, both with about 15 people on them dancing and walking all over the boats.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Speed Set on my 2010 works perfectly. I love it.

The 2006 speed set was Tige's first attempt at their own speed control and it is pretty sorry. Hopefully the engineers who helped on that project are no longer with the company. I could go on, but I would not be afraid to get Speed Set in the more recent years.

I would get to Florida right now and pick up Dom's boat.
