Ok, how do I fill it then? It will be behind my stock surf sacs?

      Very carefully...

Sorry, couldn't help it. Here is what I did, I took a 1000lb fly high sac, and I filled the side ballast until the top 350 sac started to fill and stopped. Then I filled the 1000lb sac which I had stuffed in the locker, it filled the locker and extended under the seat in that space. My goal when I get the boat, is to replace that 350 with a ~1000 lb sac in its placed, plumbed in like the 350 is.

NOTE: I don't recommend overloading your boat, if you do this on one side only, you most likely won't. Just don't want to recommend someone doing this on both sides for wakeboarding, overloading their boat. Also, the stock ballast with some decent people wait still throws a great wake, but this extra "fun" will get you close, or right to a more "pro" level wake like the one we had at the festival.

The sacs in he back are 750 lbs. However due to space limitaions they will not fill al the way up. I have been filling up the front sac all the way. I will start to empty until the wake cleans up next time out.

We use an 1100lb u shaped sack around the engine and back of boat plus one 400# sack draped over the back corner side of wherever the person is riding. (usually regular/port side) Speed at 10.0 and Taps at 3-4 the wake is deep and long. Just got it dialed in a couple of weeks ago.

We did have one person ride in the front on the surfers side a few times but really my boat likes more and more weight in the back.

This is great info Ragboy. I just received my 1000# fly high from Chpthril and got to try it (briefly) this past weekend. I have the factory ballast plus this sac...so I run around 1250# in the corner (I was running 700#). What a huge difference. I was running at 10.8 and taps at 3-4 and the wake was huge. My old wake was nice but this is amazing. Once you get your new boat and dial it in, please post your speed, weight and taps advice.

So here is where I went with this.......I put the one sac over the cooler as far back as I could get it. After fooling around with the second sac, I ended up putting it on the floor, beside the cooler as far back as I could get it. What I think would work best (short of plumbing it in with the stock ballast) would be to put the second sac on the walk through area. Has anyone accomplished this? I'm running the 701's. (400lb sacs.) I filled it on there but it was too sketchy to drive as I thought it was going to fall off. Maybe tie it off to the ski pylon somehow? Oh ya, can the back seat come out of the 2010 RZ? I had a little water mishap and would like to dry it out. I will send pics of the wake when I'm not using a camera phone. At the end of the boat there in the second picture is my front ballast. She's 110lbs.

Not sure what that means Yes, I know what goofy and regular riding means, but in regards to a ballast sac, I dont know what ya mean.

I liked the idea of being able to move the sacs around, depending on who was riding/in the boat etc.

It looks like you are doing that with 3-4 sac right now! A custom sac is just easier to do, and give you the wake you desire without taking up the seats or floor space. The custom can be plumbed-in or manual-filled like most any other sac. It would about 15 minutes to drain, swap the sac to the other side, and refill for the next rider.

I would like to eventually run plumbed in sacs, but as far as seat space goes, if I have extra people on the boat, I won't need to run two extra sacs. Unfortunately, I don't feel like I have the time or know how to plumb in custom sacs myself, so I won't be ordering anything until the northern off season.

Sacs on the seat and on the floor work well for wakeboarding, not for surfing. The reason is due to efficiency of the weight. Take a 25 lb weight and put it on your shoulder, no problem, no hold it out with an extended arm. Wakesurfing weight is about getting the boat over, listing it to the right angle, then if you want, you can add more weight, once you achieve that angle if you want to try a bigger wake. As long as the more weight keeps that angle true, and there are other factors.

So, that little 250 under haul tank, is probably worth 400-500 lb sac on a seat. RJ and I at the end of the 2008 season, went out 2x a week, and did NOTHING but experiment with weight and the deck and such, sacs and pop bags all over the place. Thats why you see some guys put a 400 lb sac on the deck all the way to one side. Weight is very efficient back there. Also why I made my deck a huge slab of metal. ;-)

The custom part of a custom sac is just the dimensions.....it comes with the standard threaded ports that any other Fly High sac comes with and can be filled manually with a pump plugged into the ACC (cigar lighter) socket just like any other sac.

That's what Duncan did. He only recently plumbed his in. He'd be a great one to PM and ask questions. The custom sac it the way to go. You could even just get one and move it from side to side if you don't want to spring for two....
