    help...

Although my new 22V is arrived and the technican (provided by the dealer) has helped me to start the engine, I think he's not professional and reliable enough.

The technican is not familiar with the engine (GM Vortec carb 315HP) and he hasn't studied the mannual and the caution notice (inside the black tiger bag). He just helped to started the engine and gave me some brief instruction and then left.

After he left, I found some parts inside the "black tiger bag" and I just wanna know what are they and what they use for.

Any idea is welcomed and appreciate.

    hey ben,
first off, you came to the right place and congrats on the new boat.

the allen wrench, set screws and o-rings are all spare parts for the pss (propshaft seal) system. hopefuly you will never need them.
the plug with the blue and white wires is for the ignition system. carberated distributors need to be put into a service mode when changing the carb settings, idle/fuel mixture, or when setting the base timing. plug it into the distributor and attach the white wire to 12 volts. that will place the ignition in "service mode" now you can make any adjustments needed. disconnect the plug and 12 volt power source, shut down the engine and restart it. it is now out of service mode and ready to go.
