    Mirror mount on windshield

What type of mirror mounts are you using with the AZ tower? I saw a very nice Roswell mirror mounted with a smooth chrome finish C clamp on a Super Air Nautique that I really like. The picture is below. It's probably a little spendy but it looks like you can fold down the mirror on the arm and the cover would slide over it with minimal rubbing. Anyone here have one?

I too am interested in this one. I'm not a big fan of the stock mirror and would like to put something else up there.

Tobler marine in WA is going to look up the part number from Nautique and let me know how much it will be to order one. I'll probably order it over the winter, I was wondering if anyone here knows of a cheaper direct from the manufacture way to order something like this.

How about getting it off the windshield?

I just don't feel that the front bimini hoop is stout enough to support a mirror like that shows.

I had the three lens mirror Samson sells on a billet mount off the tower and it was great. With the wide angle view behind the boat we used it all the time to check traffic behind us etc when on busy water. It was worth the cost and definitely allowed the driver to keep track of the riders.

It mounts to the tower not the bimini. At least mine does? It is solid!

Right, Mike, but the original question was referring to the Alpha Z tower, which does not have any OEM or aftermarket mirror arm available. So, all those with the Alpha Z are left with is windshield mounted mirrors.

Oh, I see. I was just looking at the picture not realizing it wasn't his tower. Thanks for keeping me in line.

This is where I have my mirror attached and it works great for me. This was one of my concerns when getting the boat with the AZ Tower.

Yesterday I saw the tower mount for the Malibu Illusion tower on the Samson website. It looks like the mount would rub on the bimini on the AlphaZ. I'm going to try and order the Nautique mount I posted above, it looks like it folds down easily and the smooth bump probably won't rub on the cover too much. I'll post more info and/or pics when I get the mirror added.

To order that mirror call White Lake Marine at 1-800-880-7548. They are a Nautique dealer with an excellent reputation. And if you give them the Planet Nautique discount code of "PND", they will take 10% off all orders.
