My understanding is the 2010 windshield is an "upgrade" from the 09. On the 09's, you are able to have the mirror on the middle section that opens. This is not possible on the 2010 as it touches the passenger side windshield when it is opened. Anyone have a custom mirror or ideas for how to mount my stock one? I find it difficult to see people surfing goofy side with my mirror in the position it is in now.

Also, anythoughts on how the mirror can be taken on and off so as to be able to put the cover on without ripping the rubber pads off the mount. That friggin chrome bubble on the edge of the windshield is messing up my universe. I so wish Samson had a rig to go from the tower. -

I simply take it off when I'm done with it. It takes about 5 seconds to take it on and off. Best mirror solution I've found so far...

I have the same CIPA mirror as Guapo. And I love it too. On and off as needed. Most times when not in use it leans against the front wall in the drivers well. Out of the way but within reach.
