My wife (bless her heart) will drive the combo up and park it after I back the boat off the trailer at launch, and I will pick her up afterwards and off we go. Loading is another situation. She's tried a few times to back the trailer into the water, but cannot get the hang of it. So, we pull in and dock at the back tie-ups, so others can use the closer ones while I walk up, get the rig, and back it into position to retrieve. I will hook it up and get it onto the trailer, and she will drive us up and out so we can dry off and head home. Takes a little longer, but it works. Plus, we try not to tie up the dock so others who can do it better than we can will not have to wait for us.

Fortunately, I am one of the guys that the other men on the ramp look at us and you can tell they turn to their wife and say "why can't you do that". My wife can back the trailer better than I can. Our place on the lake is about equidistant by water or car. We leave at the same time and by the time I get there, she is backing down. 30 seconds later, we are wiping down the boat. I am blessed.
