Thanks to Rick Correll, President of Tige, for sending out a replacement swim deck pad. Pic of install below. What a difference! My wife is the happiest! And a heck of a lot of thanks to Sandy at Rhodesrides.com for an expert install. We've taken it out several times and it's holding.

Admit - I was worried about the remove and install, and whether it might lift, but Sandy did a great job. Time will tell.Last edited by MRMoffat1; 07-16-2010, 06:12 AM.

I like it, looks great. If I ever have to replace the e's pad I would like that one. I haven't had any of the problems with my e' pad, no black stuff coming off. The e's are fairly hard and stiff, but it makes for good traction.
Looks great, I like it.I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!

I used a similar product on my last boat, it eventually broke down and we tracked lots of tiny blue bits in the boat. This stuff seems nicer and sounds like not as hard as the little black e's. What is the color combo on your platform? I was looking at the website and I think I'll order some samples.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

When we made our custom aluminum deck, we were not happy with the hard "e"s on our 2007 24ve. They hurt, but we never really had the black residue problem. I ordered a big swath of this stuff:

The new seadek stuff that is on the 2010 boats is great, and when I talked to Ben at Tige about it, it made it clear the change was made after Tige listening to the owners. I love it when a company listens, because the little things really matter.
So, if you go DIY, the wavejunky stuff works great, VERY soft, we love it, and its been a season and a half for us, about 275 hours or so, and it shows no signs of wear. The seadek stuff is also great, just haven't used it in a DIY setting, but they seem like a great company. WaveJunky is a small mom and pop outfit.http://wake9.com/
