That looks fun. The best part is no power turns.

Pretty sweet, I started clicking on the other youtube links after that video and went to some of the kitetubing videos. Looks like a great way to fly for a sec and then break your neck!

Those are just the crashes, though. I've seen others where the dude soars forever. I'm thinking it probably has much to do with the boat speed and the direction of the wind, much like parasailing or something like that. I really would like to try it some day.

They recalled all of the flying tubes. A guy in my city actually broke his neck on one. Fortunately, he was not paralyzed.

I love how the guy is doing it with a motorcycle helmet on. Very prudent.
              Be excellent to one another.

We still have a Manta Ray. We never went that high, only enough to get out of the water. If the driver saw the tube starting to lift, we would slow down until the tips hit the water again. You can get the same flying sensation 6 inches above the water that you can 6 feet or more!

We haven't used it in a couple of years (too many water toys). If you are interested, I would be willing to part with it. You can check it out at the reunion if you like.

The emergency room doctors LOVE these type of guys. 30-40k in repairs to the body. Easy.
