    New ballast

Gotta thank mike for hookin me up!
Heres a pic of one filled in each locker. Will get picks of the wave when I get it a little more dialed in. And vid once I figure that out! when it comes to working with video, Im lost haha.

They fit well, conform alot to the locker. starboard side fills in under the seat a little, you can see how it slants down. Did on port side because I had the 7 gal jugs slid up under the seats.

Planning on getting another tsunami pump to use to fill the 2 old 400# to put on the seats instead of the 7 gal jugs I have been using.

Thanks for posting the pics Those look like they really fit good and filled pretty well. How full do you think they got? Maybe 3/4 at least! I was not sure how well they would fit being that they are sooooo much bigger then the locker.

Yea sorry it took so long, Ive had my list of crap to do and just hadnt gotten to it yet.

I would say more that 3/4 full for sure, they fit almost perfectly width and height wise. My lockers are about 42" long, and the sacks are 50" long. and since they conformed pretty well i would say we lost about half of the 24x24x8 chunk that technically wouldnt fill. if you know what im sayin?
I might be able to come up with some math for it, but i would guess that we are still at 1000lbs if not really close. 900's for sure.

Wave felt killer, looked qaulity, but will be even better when its tuned in a little. looks nicest with taps around 4 and speed at 11.2

                  Here are 2 pics.

                  Port side fill hose. 3/4"
added the clear as an extension and so I could see the water flowing, just as a visual reference to weather pumps were working (getting old) and also added the valve. Same on the other side except I used nylon braided clear tubing after the valve (ran out of regular clear) and the valve is accessible from under the same cushion that allows you to get the main valve.

Port side drain. Just got some brass fittings to make the pump work, added the nylon braided tubing as an extension because on the old sacks the pump mounted to the blue waterbed valve that was attached to the sack. Exactly same on the other side.

Ok, so you may be wondering why I have those extra valves on the fill lines. we discovered that we could not fill just one side and have it stay full. We would fill the front and one side in the rear for surfing, and basically the sacks all equalized their pressures. Much like an old school level, a hose filled with water, the water will always be at the same level on either end of the hose. Dont you love physics!? The valve keeps the water from exiting from the fill lines and flowing into the other sack. Its not as big of a deal with the positioning of these new sacks, since the fill is explicitly on the top, but it keeps the front sacks from draining into the rears. Hope my drawn out explanation made sense.

Where did you put the intake and vents? What sack did you use up front?

Oh gotcha you want even those haha, i can crawl under and take some pictures, the boat was plumbed when we got it so I didnt have to do any of that, but the intake is right a little behind the seat. Imagine if you could drop a line from the seat that went straight down, its about a foot behind that if I remember correctly. Drain vents are right under the rub rail, on starboard parallel with the bilge vent.

Its late im tired, I hope that made sense haha.

Some video with the new ballast, and 200# up front, plus 6 people, and three 7 gal jugs of water

Towards the end of the video, speed at 11.5 taps at 4/5 I dont remember. Best wave we have ever had
