    teleflex steering cable ?

    what length cable does a 2003 21I use ???

    #2
I replaced mine not too long ago and it had a 21' in it so that's what I put back in. If you look at the cable near the rudder it should have a model number on it.

My number was up by the helm.

I do not think so but not 100% sure it depends on the type of helm you have. If it is rack an pinion it will not work

Where did you order it from. It may be a part number assigned to it by that company. So if you used West Marine for example they may buy it from Teleflex and then assign it there own number of SS141. But it really is an SSC 13419 or SSC15419. You want to make sure it is a 154 prefix that is the new extreme version that is built to last a lot longer and their is only a $10.00 difference in price and sometimes not even $10.00.

I just replaced mine about 2 weeks ago and used the SSC13417 (cuz that's what came out of it) and I still had a little left over....just routed it in the bilge and all was good......smooooth as butter (again)!
