    Tige Touch Ballast Question

I asked Dom at Forte's and he is researching this as well, but figured I would pose the question here too.

In Setup>Adjust Ballast Times I am only able to max the Fill and Drain times out at 10mins. Last week I got an Enzo Sac for my birthday. I put this in the starboard rear locker extending up to the passenger seating. The problem is 10mins is not enough time to fill this sac completely. I have to reset timers and run the pump again. Not a big deal, but I can not save this to my Rider Profiles because of this.

Does anyone know if it is possible to change these Fill and Drain times to more than 10 mins?

Plumb it in with it's fill and drain pump(s) and be done in less then 10 minutes. Timer hurdles on the CC's and MC's have been around for a few years now with those adding to the factory ballast.

Johnny I talked to someone at Tige and they said 10 min. is the max and they didnt see a change comming on that. I guess your best bet would be to set surf profile at max let it do its thing then go back in an manually turn on the fill to the enzo sack until it as full as you want it.

that extra enzo sac, is that with a proballast system or a lesser setup? I am waiting on my RZ2 to be finished and I am curious about the need for a larger sack. the bigger the better i always say.

This was my next course of action. Any chance they will release the code, and let us computer geeks have a shot at some hacks to make some small changes?

hycosurf - I opted for the Surf level ballast, but the difference in the Surf and Pro level ballast is 400lbs which is all located in the bow IIRC. I added the Enzo sac to the starboard rear locker to maximize my surf wake.

Guma- how does that Enso sac fit? Wouldn't the 22ve 1000lb sac have been a better option? Just curious!

I am sure the custom sac chpthrll had made would have been a better fit, but this was a birthday present from my wife who did not know about the custom sac. I was going to order the custom sac, before some truck problems came about that needed my attention. What I didn't know was when I put the brakes on the custom sac order, my wife started looking for the Enzo.

The enzo sac fits quite nice, but I had to run about 18" of extra tubing on one of the drain holes on the Enzo sac to make it work with my factory ballast. Other than that it fits nicely, fills up and drains as it should, and is an extra 1400lbs on that side.

I know how great my wake is in my 22ve with just 1000lbs. So you would have 1400 lbs assuming it would fill all the way plus 250lb of in floor ballast?

I want to see a pic of that wake!

A 35 gallon kitchen trashcan will still only hold 35 gallons, even if you line it with a 55 gallon trash bag.

Our custom sac is designed to optimize the space available in the 22Ve and Rz2 boats. It's dimensions are slightly larger then the storage area, so the sac will fill as much as possible, without expanding like a balloon. The Enzo sac is quite a bit larger then our custom sac. In fact all but one dimension, the height of the leg, is greater. Even though the enzo filled is rated at 1450, if the sac is larger then the storage area it's in, the dimensions of that storage area will be the determining factor on the net weight. So, at the end of the day, the enzo and our custom will add about the same weight to a 22Ve/RZ2.

Congrats and welcome to the Tige family What ballast option did you order? The Enzo sac is a semi-custom sac made by Fly High.

thx chpthril. I got the pro ballast system. My old 04 tige 20v I was so tired of the fat sacks in the middle of the boat I wasn't going to have anything less. the surf wake and wake on my 20v was never a dissapointment. Knee and waste high on them, Have not seen in person the new RZ2 wakes. I like em big!
