My policy is up for renewal and noticed the motor was insured for twice as much as the boat. I called and had them switch it around. If my motor goes, I know it won't cost as much as if I were to run it aground or hit an object in the water. I would check your policies to make sure you have the proper coverage. Am I wrong?

Sounds like they got the wrong coverage all together. It sounds like they got you listed as an outboard boat instead of an inboard boat where as the engine is considered part of the boat and not a separate part as in an outboard. Now, most states are all very similar, but there can be difference, so the above is just a generalized description.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I have west mar insurance, and my boat is cover for the purchase price!
I have a 300 deductable and the trailer is also covered. I wanted progressive first, but Tigé water sport told me about this company. It also turns out that if I have TWS do any repairs, the insure will allow TWS to work on the boat without an adjuster seeing it first. This can save a whole lot of time.
I have never had to use them, but I really like the policy they gave me.
Just one more thing that made me glad I bought my boat from the guys at Tige Water Sports in coronaTige, it's a way of life!
