Any ideas as to how to pull from one side on the Alpha Z? I guess you could drill and mount a nub. After seeing your loop solution, I think I will try looping through the hand hold on the side of the top bar of the Alpha Z.
I had the standard bimini up and the rope did not interfere or snag. I did not try it with the extended bimini yet.

I kick myself for surf towing from the center until now. This makes driving SO MUCH EASIER! The rider just pops into the sweet start spot! This will especially make a huge difference when teaching people to get up.

We are working on another way, instead of having to slipknot the whole rope through. I will let you know how it works.
We test and play around a lot, the idea of towing from the side for surfers is one of those things that I think everyone will do eventually, it really makes sense. I talked to Samson about someday having 3 tows on towers. I will have to talk to Tige about it also.
First, it is SO much easier for a new person to stay on the side, and NOT have to drop in, and second, it is so much easier to give the rope to the rider when you come back. The only down side we have had, is that the rope can more easily get hung up on a rack or board on the side, you just have to check before hitting it.
We have been doing this for almost 2 full seasons now and we just DO NOT tow from the center anymore, it just doesn't make sense.http://wake9.com/

This is the part that has me feeling my shorts get tight (sorry) ...
You can clearly see that the outside speakers are PRO 80s, and the inside are PRO 60s. The boat we demo'd, the red one from the festival had 4 PRO 60s, and the beige one had 2 PRO 80s. I can't WAIT to hear this sucker.http://wake9.com/
