    shower valve on

Had our Z1 in the water for about 45 minutes of slow cruising. Didn't realize shower valve was on. Toggle switch for shower was off but still filled hull with enough water some was injested into engine. Thankfully boat is ok but just a heads up.

Why was it leaking into the bilge? I would think that the bilge pump would kick on and the floor would be getting wet long before the water level reached the flame arrestor Water that high would sink a boat

    Glad nothing major happened.

Not sure why water would come out if the pump was off. My shower valves are always on and the only time water comes out is if I turn the pump on.

If I was you I would check the bilge pump and make sure that works too. If you dont have an automatic one I would get one for sure.
