Interesting.... road in / drove a 29' baja this weekend. What a rough *** boat. Talk about porpoising!

Even the owner commented how much smoother my boat was than his. My buddy who's always kind of liked the function of "go-fast" boats, even commented and said he wouldn't own one after riding in that one.

72 mph was fun though and convenient for late night marina runs. Still nothing like the 130 mph Cat I got to play in too

Have you posted and searched on www.offshoreonly.com & www.seriousoffshore.com ? The go fast market is in the toilet right now and has been for the last two years, which I'm guessing is why the mfg. is wanting to turn the boat before his interest starts on that boat. We are a Formula dealer and are familiar with the high horsepower Mercs,what type of warranty comes with the Ilmore engines and who will work on and repair under warranty. Formula has an aftermarket warranty from Passport that covers up to five years on everything including all their engines but that doesn't cover Corsa exhaust leaks at a cost of $3,000 to one of our customer recently with a Formula 382 with 600's.
You should check out the Emerald coast poker run in Destin FL in Aug. Hopefully the oil spill won't cancel it this year.
You don't have to pay the big entry fee to have fun, just riding and cruising around looking at all the boats is more fun to me than running at WOT.

I could never afford the fuel so I'd never buy one. I remember fueling up at the docks when I had my tige and those guys would drop a g to fill their's up and this was in 2003....

Would be sweet tanner, but why not just find a friend that has one and throw him some gas money... or maybe rent one???

but like others have said, it is your money, and if you got it, flaunt it is what my friends say lol
