I think you should have just fixed that Gekko. The damage doesn't look that bad.

Truly a blessing in disguise. Welcome to the family, you'll love that boat.

Is it too soon that start in on the FAE or should I wait until he actually takes delivery?
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Sometimes things just fall into place and it all works out, great here in your case. Brandon and Steve at Texas Tige are great. I got my boat there last year and no regrets!! Hope to see you at the Texas Tige reunion this fall.

That is amazing and really is like a gift. I think I will go see if I have my insurance on expected or market.

              Too soon!

We had the maiden voyage with ours last night and honestly, I did not notice much less sound but I DID notice much less exhaust(!) holding onto the ski rope when my son was out there.

Direct drives have longer exhaust tubes already...are they quieter to start with?

I think with the clam shell there is a lot less sound insulation to begin with.

Wow, glad to hear someone stopped by before your truck was toast too. Great color choice on the 22ve, we had the blue and black on our old 22ve, sharp!

Welcome to Tige Owners! Looking forward to some final pictures

[QUOTE=bvaughn;426139]So, God did me a favor, and I'm about to become a Tige owner because of His favor.
So, in the end, I lost my boat, but the good news is due to the insurance payment, and now that I am in a better financial situation than I was in 2004, I have ordered a brand new 2010 Tige 22Ve. I ordered it through Brandon Raymond at Texas Tige in Conroe, TX, and Tony Fussell, director of sales for Tige. I met these guys at the Houston boat show, and both were incredibly helpful.

Now I just have to patiently wait for it, and soon I'll be a "Tige Owner", too! I can't wait!

QUOTE] I think that is the 3rd Gekko this week that Brandon has burned!
If its not fun, Why do it?
