I am fairly new to Tige boats and am having trouble getting my cruise control to work . . . I am pretty sure it works, but I think I am not activating it correctly. It is a 2006 22i. Can someone give me the step/tricks for activating the cruise control? Thanks for any help.

I am not sure what the name of the cruise control is. It has an oval cruise control panel with a middle button and and an up botton on one side and a down button on the other side. On main contol panel I use the rocker switch to turn the cruise on and then I press the middle button the on cruise panel and nothing happens . . . I have been told that the cruise contol works . . . so maybe I am not turning it on correctly.

If it is Speed Set, turn on the rocker switch, get up to speed and press the Speed Set button on the oval, then go ahead and press the throttle all the way down, then use the up and down arrows to adjust. If the rider falls, your speed is now saved so you can pull the rider up normally until you get to your set speed and then push the throttle all the way down. BTW, we are gonna need to see pics of your boat.

Like Aj stated, you do need to slowly move the throttle to the wide open position after the cruise is set.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Thanks for all of the comments.
The button on my system says Accu-Set. I am not sure what I was expecting to happen. Maybe a beep to let me know that the speed was set or something.
I get the boat to speed, turn the rocker switch on, and then press the middle Accu-Set button. Then if I turn the boat does not return to the set speed. Also, if I move the throttle lever, the speed is changed (as if the cruise contol was not set). If I try to move the lever all the way open, as suggested, the boat would move to full speed.
Any other thoughts? I will post a picture of the boat.

If there is no light blinking when you push the button, the controller is probably dead. The current Tige Speed-Set is a plug-n-play swap.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Tige had problems w/ the accu-set boards going bad, at least Andrew told me some time ago when he was there! Mine went bad too. And like Chp said, it's a plug and play swap, but there's one problem with the swap. You will lose the LED to let you know that it's engaged. In addition, you'll have no way to know it's engaged, other than just the "Feel" of the boat. No beep, no LED, nada. As Tige had the little LCD screen to let you know what was going on when they swapped over to the Speed-set over the accu-set. But I guess it's better than nothing.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

hmmm. I see an LED on the rocker switch which turns on, but I dont see one on the accu-set button. Is the LED on the button itself? I am pretty sure that the system is working because it worked one time when I was on a demo with the dealer . . . but I am not sure how it was set.
Anyways, where can I buy a speed-set replacement?
Here is a photo of the boat.Attached Files

The LED is on the control panel itself. As you hold the center "Set" button down, it should be right above your finger. You can't see it UNTIL it powers on. It's a red LED hidden behind the face plate. As it lights up behind the plate, you can see it. But like I said, only then. If it's not blinking as your holding the center button down, it's gone bad on you.
Before mine went bad, it got finicky and you had to really push the button with some pressure to get it to set. And even then, it took a bit to actually get it to set.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.
