Tige Gear = Much to be Desired

What is up with Tige Shop on their website? I bought a brand new boat, C. Pigeon sends me a nice gift certificate to the shop, I'm going to pull the trigger on that gangster pinstiped hat they had on there, and then they are gone and haven't been replaced. And, the selection leaves much to be desired. I noticed just now that they are advertising new t-shirts but give no way of purchasing them. Any ideas on what is up with this? Any Tige people lurking and want to chime in? I have also been really bummed since winning the tige March Madness bracket and not getting the Tige swag that they were talking about for the winner (I was pretty proud of my Duke pick). I really want to rep Tige, but it is a little difficult with this small of a selection.

No doubt! I realize its not going to be a profit center like selling boats is, but how hard would it be to stock some descent gear that most of the Tige' owners would be proud to wear?

So far i bought the gray hoodie, which i like alot, i was just hoping it would be a darker gray like the picture on the website instead of a light gray, a little bumbed about that... and a t-shirt that is cut kind of weird so although it fits, its not really that comfortable.

I was just down there and they said they cant keep the stock up because it sells pretty quickly. They were going to be restocking with new stuff in a few more weeks. Just hang tight.

Got my gift certificate a week or two back and was thinking the same thing. Problem is, the GC has an expiration date on it. I will try and contact Jean to see if the GC can be extended until they get some new gear stocked.

I contacted Jean and he said he would prolong the expiration date as I am having the same frustrations. Four Winns wouldn't send you a $75 gc, so I'm not bitching!

They have always been low and don't have a huge assortment. When the economy gets better and boats start selling like they did 3-4 years ago, I would hope that Tige starts to stock up their gear again.

I never got a gift certificate when I bought my boat last year. Must be nice to be able to complain about there being nothing to use it on.

When I bought mine I got a Tige 20V and 2 sets of keys to go with it. Even got 1 key floaty.
Almost forgot I got a letter from Charlie but no freebies.

Tige gear has never been great IMO.Inventory is low, common items out of stock and no polo shirts or basic t-shirts.

Is anyone really happy with Tige boats. I have a whopping seven hours on mine and it is already in the shop with multiple problems. My old Crownline went 17 years without a single mechanical problem. Oh! the speedo quit after 5 years and Faria replaced it no questions asked. Just curious what I am in for with the Tige.

Clownline is a much better boat!!!!
