For the lack of a better term, there is an original type mount for the bottom of the Bimini and another mount further up on the Bimini supports.(total of 4 Bimini screws, two always stay attached even for stowage).

There is another ring attached to the tower to support Bimini. Hopefully pics will help understand.
Mine does not rattle when it is put up. It only rattles when folded and in case. Two supports that have quick connects on them hit the other poles when folded. When up it is great. I was very happy when I first put it up. No fighting or going crazy like the 2007 Tige E-series Bimini. It goes up in a couple of minutes. It could be longer but it is good for our normal use.

To kill rattle when stored I do what I mentioned above. I changed it a little where I put Velcro on the pole below the quick connect poles and then wrap Velcro around the rattling poles to have the quick connects not hit metal when stored. Other choice is to put top up.

I installed the Aerial Assult on mine, and i love it, there it a little bit of sway when im towing it or hitting really big wake, but other than that im really happy with the tower, it did take like 4 hours to install it though lol
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's just that yours is stupid.

Big bimini means longer days on the water.

I love the look of your boat.
