    Steering Problem

I am having some problems with my steering. When I go to turn the boat to the starboard side the boat does not want to go.

I was playing with the rudder after I took the boat out of the water and I noticed that if I hold the rudder in place and have someone turn the wheel it continues to turn. What is seems like is that the steering cable may have come loose and when there is pressure on the rudder it does not turn. If I just cruise around at a slow speed then it allows me to turn with no problems.

    Any ideas?

I would guess that the steering arm inside the boat is not tightly clamped to the rudder shaft where the shaft goes through the hull.

mr. forjar, please call me today. greg at tigewatersports 951/737-9801.
i don't like the fact that your boat might not be able to turn when you need to.
