    Boat Loan Options?

Anyone out there have suggestions (bank or credit union) for a good rate on boat loans? Thanks!

If you are a service veteran (or otherwise qualify), check with USAA. They have outstanding service, and gave me a good rate.

what do you have for a down payment? having 25% down will expand your possibilities... I know there is a bank called key bank or key west bank that does a ton of boat loans. Have you talked to your local bank? Is your credit score about 720(which is now GOOD credit)??

Credit Unions are the best. I have my house and boat through a local CU here and they are the easiest to do business with compared to any bank I have dealt with.

I know It cant always be done but as TRD says "it makes it a lot less worrisome". My first boat I financed . My second boat was a cash deal .

Now if I could just sell it and upgrade to newer one everything would be rosie.
