    dachbr

They are a little farther apart (about 3 ft) I only used one clamp trying to get the look I wanted and I fully intended to drill another hole in the mounting plate, for the 2nd clamp, but that single works just fine. I might mount it up with 2 clamps this winter.

They sound friggin amazing. Sitting in the boat, you can tell they are loud, but not overpowering. On the water, they are unbelievable, because of the way they project the sound back to the rider. Word to the wise, DON'T EVER stand on the sundeck with those things turned up. My brain started coming out of my ears. Nothing like a little Deftones to piss off the golfers, unintentionally of course.

I'll try to take some other pics, but it's been raining quite a bit here.

Looks much better with the speakers spaced out further. I'll add that one to my list of down time projects. Thanks for posting pics.

          Lucky,

          Couple of questions:

1: How far do those hang down from the bottom of the tower?

2: Could you get me a distance from the floor of your boat to the bottom of your addictions?

I'm 6'3" and I don't want to keep hitting my head! Plus I don't want to modify my bimini unless I have too.

          Thank you

            Distance to the floor...

I think they are 86 inches to the floor. Lee's got the boat right now. So if he checks this out maybe he can measure or I can run by there tomorrow.

My 2005 24V is about 86 inches to the floor. Since I am 81 inches tall that is very nice. I have no problems whatsoever with the addictions because on the tower I have (Metcraft, 04) the speakers can be placed very far apart and well away from the walking area. Keep in mind the speakers are 10 inches in diameter, so they hang down about 11-12 inches. Here's a few pics of mine:

                  talltigeguy,

                  Very nice.

I don't think I will have to worry about hitting my head, I'm not quite 81 inches tall!! I think the 05 tower might be a little taller than your Metacraft as well.

The tower is 89" from the floor and the speakers are 76" from the floor.
