Not sure when they will be available. The motor did appear to be quieter, not sure exactly how they were doing this, but the product manager called it something like quiet drive. The seating ledge directly above the swim platform was nice as were the stainless drink holders. I'm not into the high tech dashboards. I know the hull is different, but I'm pretty happy what my '99 2100v Ltd. For me, not enough new to buy a new one.

We just went into the dealership(I am a new member and first time tige owner) and bought the first 2006 20v that is arriving in Calgary next Sunday morning for pick-up. Pretty similar to the one in the pictures released by Andrew, but it is Red instead of the orange! If you have any more information on the boat I would really appreciate it, as we have never owned a Tige, and are upgrading from a Bayliner 2050 LS!
it surely is a great upgrade. I will post some pictures of the boat when we pick it up. I was just wondering(kind of a long shot), we have a 2004 Sequoia, its supercharged so has tons of power, but just wondering if any of you tow with this and have any trans problems with it overheating or anything? As we havent towed with it yet, we are just wondering! Thx for the welcome!
I tow our 2150 with our 04 Seqoia fine. The supercharger would be amazing! As long as you got the "tow Package" on the vehicle, from the factory, you should not have any problems. If you just added or had addaed a trailer hitch, That might not work. They added trans oil coolers when it is factory installed and a larger alternator as well. I'm not sure about the engine oil cooler? Ours is 4WD and has come in handy at Lake Powell with low water conditions, gravel launch ramp and loaded boat and car. There is no trans oil temp gauge so you really don't know how much you are pushing it. How far will you be towing?
Congrats on the new boat and welcome to the family!
We will be towing it about 320kms(ahh yes im a canadian boy), its pretty twisty, single lane and a lot of uphill for about a good 250km portion of the drive. The Sequioa was bought new with the trailer-hitch with it, so its good to hear about the trans cooler. We also have 4x4, so that helps big time cuz the ramp in is pretty steep. But lemme tell you, I think that supercharger will be GREAT for towing.
I have a 24V that I pulled with an 03 Sequoia for a while. It did very well, and it doesn't have the supercharger. It just sucked gas badly to about 8-9 mpg. The power seemed excellent.
Just bought my first boat,an 06 20V.Hull is black, orange and white, graphics have a splash of yellow. We went and looked at the 06 Nautics but they are narrow and when you sit in the seating areas you are real close to the floor. We went to the Tige` dealer here in Mesa,Az and they had just unloaded the 06 20V and 22V1s off the truck that AM.They were still shrink wrapped!!They said that they weren`t ready to show yet but we convinced them otherwise!!!SO we fell in love with the look, the features and the price.I get it next week, can`t wait,The majo change to the interior is the seating does not wrap around the front accross the walkway to the bow. They eliminated that part of the seat and it makes it much easier to get to the bow. Can`t wait to hear the TOWER of POWER!!Being new boat owners I have no comparison but I sure have looked at a lot of boats and I have to say these are awesome boats.I like the idea of no balast system. We looked at the 22V but it is just my wife and I and we didn`t need that big of boat. When I get it I`ll post some pics..Take care everyone!
Sounds like we will be getting our boats at about the same time. We pick it up sunday aft. or monday sometime! If i get it I will post some pics, but i am really interested to see what yours looks like!
I was told the shaft angle is different on the ve's reducing noise. The ve's are available, when I was at Tige on the 29th there were ALOT of ve's being made. The 22 and 24 ve has an incresaed seating and wieght capacity over the standard 22's and 24's. The ve's are 2 people more each. I will see how my pictures turned out.
It didn't appear to be bigger than my 21v, however the freeboard was higher and the seats were higher.
Check out my pictures on http://www.wakesiderides.com under a similar thread. My son got to wakeboard and surf behind one. The wake is pretty impressive, especially with no ballast.
