Anyone have a pic of the 22V? I ordered an 05 last tuesday and they said they would do me a favor and make it and '06. I would like to know if there are any differences. I was told "no" but, if those board racks swivel or the graphics the same as the pics I'd prolly opt for those instead.... feedback would be greatly appreciated

The reverse tower shown in one of the 22Vé photos is an early prototype and is far from finalized. In fact, the photo shouldn’t have even been released. Tigé currently has no plans to release a reverse tower in '06. Because Tigé builds its towers in-house, we’re continually testing and refining new designs. The reverse prototype in the photo obviously fell short but it was one of many we were testing and Tigé has already moved on. We’ll let you know when we’ve got the real deal. Sorry for the confusion and thanks, as always, for the comments.

Don't reverse the tower....it looks like crap and any malibu owner will tell you it's more of a pain than benefit.

How about doing some radical and industry leading with your towers? If you design and build in house why not create some focus groups from the members on this board for consumer feedback. Seems like it would be cheaper than losing further market share to Mastercraft.

...and Joe is right. I've got A LOT of feedback that I could provide- being a fairly vocal current owner.

also, other than the tower, graphics, interior, and transom, what else is redesigned? how about better seam stitching? Non-prestretched vinyl? Any powertrain/drivetrain changes? Convex-V²? Is the TAPS system electric or hydraulic?

The new glove box looks nice, cant wait to see the whole thing up close.

What sound options will be available? I've noticed that mastercraft is using JL audio now- any possibility for that or audiobahn's new marine-grade stuff?

Tige just uses Kicker and Clarion right now, but your dealer might do other brands such as JL. I know my dealer just got liscensed to do other brands and he said its going to be a lot cheaper and better then going through Tige

The 06 boats look nice but I do prefer look of my 05 24V. Maybe it is the picture but the 24Ve looks smaller inside. No matter, Tige builds a great product and you know it will look good on the water.

The Tige' rep brought up the 20V (in the pics) this weekend for Board Bonanza.I found out this weekend that you can get an Anodized tower, instead of powder coated. IMO it looks alot better then the Silver Powercoated option.

By no means am I bummed that I bought an '05, but I am really digging the '06 line up and almost wish I had waited. I like the walk through transome, the glove box looks sweet, and the rear end is just plain sharp and functional. Props on the new line. Now if they only do a snap out carpet throughout as well as an anchor compartment with its own hatch I might consider trading up!

I think the gelcoat looks really weird. I wanted to wait a few days and see if it grew on me but I think the color layout and graphics went downhill from last years boats. And, it still has an awful tower on it... I am disappointed.

I will say, I like the rear end. I think that will be very nice. Hopefully they made room for more water weight in the nose of the boat somehow.

'06 shipping today

I got an email from the Tige rep yesteday. My 06 22v is shrink wrapped and should be shipping out today. I hope that anodized tower looks as good as in the dealer catalogs.
