    Andrew,

I have emailed you on two differant occasions since the first of April this year.

I no longer have the 03 we talked about last year I now have an 05 that requires an additional 200lbs on the passangers side of the boat to offset a design or manufacturing flaw on behalf of Tige.

After the second email I sent to you was not returned, I decided to voice my dis-satisfaction when I receive my questionere from Tige as I received on my previous three Tige purchases.

I also posted on this web site asking for any input re this matter with no response from anyone at Tige (see post referring to my 05 Tige leans to the right)

I love my boat but I would not drive a car that required an additional 200lbs on one side to make it perform correctly, as I am sure you would not as well.

All I am saying is for $50,000 It should come to me perfect or very close.

Last night I sent you an additional email and left you a voice mail.

are you sure you understand the dynamics of water, boats and wieght distribution?

any boat will list in the water if the weight is not even. With one driver in the boat and one skier, yes the boat will not be perfectly even. Your own weight cuases that, hence the need for more wieght on the passenger side. A mere 100#s will cuase the biggest change on any boat setup for wakeboarding if it is not placed appropriately.

there is no flaw in the 05 hull. the problem you are having can be had in ANY boat.

think about this.... try and balance a V on its bottom tip. (the V being the shape of the boat as if you looked at a cross section from behind the boat) the weight has to be perfectly even for it to balance... the boat hull is basically the same thing. The drivers weight ads more to one side, hence the lean, and pull to that side... not to mention the turn of the prop ads a little pull as well. (even the stearing system can play a part of how much you feel the pull of a boat, a loose system lets you feel a lot of pull, a tight system takes some of that pull off of your hands for you).

when we wakeboard in an 05 22v, we put about 300 lbs on each side of the motor, then about 600 pounds in the front walkway (under the bow walkway cushion). Then depending on how many people are in the boat we make sure they are sitting as needed to balance out the boat so that the "V" is balance on it's tip (so to speak).

      make sense?

        Jeffro,

With all do respect I am not stupid. As stated this is my fourth tige and my ninth boat. I am very aware of weight distribution.

We run the Tige factory ballast which consists of two tanks in the aft 600 lbs each give or take, two tanks near the bow 125 lbs each give or take. We also have added a custom U shaped sack in the bow 500 lbs give or take and with equal weight on drivers side and passengers side of the boat it leans to the drivers side significantly.

Furthermore I have several friends that have 03 22V, 04 22V and Malibu Wakesetter, Mastercraft X Star that do not require additional weight on one side or the other.

I do not mean to sound like a smart ??? but I am very aware of what a boat should or should not do.

does the boat sit level when it is dead in the water?

does it lean more the faster you go?

does it also lean more when placing the taps plate all the way up?

if so, i know exactly what the problem is with your hull. you can reach me at 951/737-9801 ask for greg.

sounds like it's time for a refresher course in hook and rocker

Just spoke with Andrew, he never received my email may be an issue with my spyware, my apologies to Andrew I just assumed you were not concerned about this issue.

Again I appreciate the help and apologise for busting on you when you never knew there was an issue.

The problem seems to be with adding a second battery to the drivers side, Andrew is setting things up so my Awesome dealer SKIHUT can move the second battery to the passangers side and make the world all great again.

I will check my antispyware to see if that is the problem sending PM's.

                Many thanks for the help.

drd4fun Thank you for taking my call and I am glad that we were able to figure everything out. Let me know about the computer and spyware because I would hate for someone else to have the same issues. I will be in contact with Lee and explain everything. Again I am glad we were able to get together and get this resolved. Thanks.

So, I need to add a second battery, do I put it back by the other one (behind the passenger side rear compartment of my V-Drive) or try to balance it out a bit? My boat's a '99 2100V Ltd.

wasnt trying to insult you at all... apologies if it sounded that way. (it wasnt meant as sarcasm or being a smart a$$, merely a question).

glad they figured out the problem.

we ride an 03 22v, 05 22v, and 03 21 i, as our main rides, we always adjust weight to get the wakes even... same goes for our friends in the malibu, ssv, and calabria.

                        Jeffro,

No problem at all, I apologise if I sounded like a prick.

I se you are from Austin, we towed our boat down last summer and spent time on Lake Austin and Travis lots of fun. My old neighbor here in TN moved back to Roundrock so we were visiting he and his family. Hula Hut and Chuey's are the best.

Brd4fun, it sounds like everything is going to work out for you...

Back to the topic at hand. Let's hear more about the 06's. Somebody's got to have a sneak photo of the boat(s), interior, tower, graphics or something... anything. When can we expect the release?
