Lucky ; I placed my order with Wakeside on 6-29. I got the package deal with the Tru-Technology amp. I think I will have one of the local pro shops do the install because I want separate volume controls that are easily accessible for each amp. Also does anyone here run an iPod through their Clarion CMD4 auxilary? I had ordered the interface but it did not get installed. I have had people tell me that it's not needed??

      Maybe this thread will help.

I was told we need 2.5 inch clamps with a thin rubber gasket because of the curve. Monster tower has some, here is a link. Not sure if they sell em separately, but it gives you an idea.

          Dachbr,

I run my Ipod through the aux port on the Clarion deck. It works very well. You cannot control the ipod through it, but it sounds great. I haven't yet hooked up any sensible place to put it so I just have the ipod flopping around loose, but I'll figure something out eventually.

Make sure to put the deck AUX sensitivity to high or you won't feel like it is loud enough.
          Be excellent to one another.

Thanks talltigeguy, UPS delivered the other Addiction speaker today so I'm ready to install. We are really impressed with the upgraded Kicker amp and speakers in the boat. My son had the system cranked when I jumped out at the dock to get the tow vehicle and from 200 yards away it sounded GOOD!

I'm just saying that I'd like to see the '06 paint scheme. To me, this doesnt look like an '06 at all. None of the changes that have been described are present.

It could be that its an 05 boat with 06 "components". Components being the tower, dash, etc.

nope... look at the tower uprights- they're from the '05 tower, and from what I can tell, the difference between '05 and '06 is just that... the rest of the tower is the same.

as far as the dash, look at the pic below... the perfect pass is installed next to the steering wheel. on the "new" dash, its installed in the instrument cluster.

Also, where is the new glove box?

I think you may be confusing the Ve with the V, the Ve has the new dash and for the towers they look the same but with three upright options not just the one as the '05 has.

We just got our 05 last week and did get the 06 anodized tower. I tried to get them to change the Tige' uprights for the for the I series uprights (with the integrated board racks) but the factory said "no can do."

                        NO CAN DO?

You, or somebody needs to elaborate on why. The two mount points for those appear to be in the same spot. If not, they are building these towers "in house" if I'm not mistaken. Make it happen. Was it a time issue or something? All in all it's a shame they didn't build some board racks into your particular upright design. There is no reason they shouldn't be there. It is by far the best place for them. All that aside, DAMN that's a nice looking boat.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I asked my dealer the same thing; is it an availibility issue or an incompatibility issue? He was supposed to find out for me to see if I could switch out later, I'll try to give him a call.

                            uprights

I'd be willing to bet that they are not in production yet. Probably still tooling around with the upright design. The backwards tower was posted here, but is not going to make it into production, so all of those uprights are more than likely prototypes waiting to be finalized.

                            Ruune:
I heard nothing is changing on the 22v, except that the dash color will be lightened a little and the option for the anodized tower, not sure on the gelcoat, as I had already decided on all white and wasn't concerned. The 22ve is where all the glovebox, cupholder, dash layout etc will be changing. At least that is what the Tige' rep relayed to me.

can we get someone from Tige to clear this up? Andrew? Harvey?

quick review of changes for "06

Just to clear a few things up for you guys. The Tigé Line up for 2006 will include: 24Ve 22Ve 24V 22V 20V 22i 21i and the 20i. So in response to the 22V it is the "same boat" as 2005 as in the way it is built and structurally etc. The difference for 2006 is that the gelcoat has ben enhanced to compliment the design of the boat and also allow for more customizing ablility on the part of the consumer. Basically the goal was to give all of you guys as many options as possible so that everyone can create their own perfect Tige. We now offer the anodized tower which seems to be a hit and we offer new billet options. The 2005 billets are available in 06 as well. They are going strong and a lot of people love them, but we wanted to ad a few more options to once again further the ability to make your perfect tige. The riders and limited graphics will also remain in the line for 2006 as well as the addition of three new designs, the edge, a new west coast, and the classic graphic. Once again just more options everyone. As far as the towers...there are two available but not interchangable...The Ve's get one tower and the rest of the tiges get the standard tige tower. Each tower has its own option for billets. The standard tige tower (24V 22V 20V 22i 21i) has the choice two billets the original billet (debut in 05) and the new crescent billet. Then on the "Ve" tower there are a choice of two billets specifically for that tower which you have seen in pictures. All billets have the option of hinged racks to go on them. As far as the compatibility of the billets for the standard tower. The new creascents "should" fit. But you will run into a few issues based on some changes in 06. The 2006 Bimini has been upgraded to allow for your boards to swing under it, where as the 2005 was not yet design for these changes. Other than that, to my knowledge there should not be a problem. Another couple of things to look forward to is Throttle by wire on all of the 2006 Tiges and the new Tige SpeedSet Cruise control. This cruise is simple touch pad recognition that makes setting your speed more simple and more consistent than it has ever been. There are many more awesome changes through out the boats to make them better design and more user friendly than ever. I hope this clears some things up for everyone.
