How did you route the drain hose?

the 2010 RZ factory cover looks similar to Guapo's, just not with the tight elestic at the top. I guess it would actually be similar to dingle's, excep they did a much better job of fitting the fabric. There is not a 2" gap, it is actually somewhat snug. However, not elastic tight so that water can't drip through. Other than that issue, I love the factory cover.

Guapo, one tradeoff is that it doesn't look like you have the wratchet strap that travels the circumference of the cover right underneath the rubrail and operates under the transome. It is an awesome feature on the 2010 factory cover.

Ratchet sounds nice but mine snugs up great. It travels very well. I'd like to see what type of dehumidifiers you guys are talking about. I keep picturing those that look like a small dorm refrigerator. I like the idea.

I have four of the Eva Dry E500s. http://evadry.reachlocal.net/products.html

They work well, especially up in the bow. But when everything is really wet, they are not enough.

Looked into these but they did not remove water; they just circulate warm air.

Would like something that either pulls a lot of water out of the air or exhausts air outside the boat.

OK, here are some better pics of the gap around the tower legs on the 09's with the Alpha Z. Other than these gaps, I love the cover.

Birds especially ducks and geese keep ours covered when not in use. If put away wet, we will take seat bottom and open them so all the space under the seats get a chance to dry with airflow that occurs. our covers have vents that we had to re-install so they actually vented and let air flow and some of the heat from black covers escape the interior of boat.

We also keep covered to keep dust, dirt and leaves out. Even when stored in the garage which we are required to do based on village and association code we keep the covers on and dust and dirt out.

Thanks for the replies. I usually have the cover on, but my boat stays purdy wet inside after a rain so I open it up and let it dry out for a couple of days when the sun comes out. Dingle - those are some pretty big openings around the tower!

The 2010 cover was 10X better, it has elastic around the tower legs.

You like? Somehow the self-destruct feature was activated on the water a couple weeks ago. Should be back in business soon (I hope)...

Wow that is not a good fit at all. I'm sure you could have some elastic stitched in to get a tight fit around the tower.
