Any Tigeowners out at Folsom Lake today? Saw a few Tige's out there. Unfortunately mine was one that only made it out to the launch ramp and not the water. Is getting your boat back with a drained battery part of a normal pre-season tune up....it is where i took my boat! Sucks.

Always charge the battery or turn the engine over briefly for the first trip of the year after a long layoff.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck.. it happens to lots of people. I keep a set of jumper cables in the boat and seem to use them pretty regularly.Be excellent to one another.

I had been putting it on a Westmarine charger about every 3 weeks or so throughout the offseason. I had been disconnecting all the cables during chargin as well, fortunately i took it back to westmarine and they tested it, said it was bad and gave me a new one even without the receipt! How often do you guys put yours on a charger on/off season?
Tall..do you jump with another boat in the water? I thought about also buying a portable jumper to keep in the truck for times like this too.
Bell...I have been seeing a ton of Tige's around town..has there ever been a norcal reunion?I'd rather be a conservative nut job than a liberal with no nuts and no job.

One time I had a dead battery and tried jumping it...usually when deepcycles are drained, they are very hard to bring back to life, especially with just a jump. I was unsuccessful trying to jump mine. Other people put the boat in the water tie it up to the dock, they yank their truck battery and use it in the boat for the day.
