One different idea about the water spraying-
Could there have been some water in the bottom (bilge) that was being flung around by the shaft? It could have gone to the rear of the boat as you got underway. The bilge pump took awhile to get it out or the pump was not working while you had the electrical issues. After it was pumped out the problem was gone?
Just another idea.

Why is it when you buy a 50 to 90k car you don't have to work the kinks out. The boating industry kills me. We just say well its a boat what do you expect. If I paid what some pay for brand new boats or even a boat sitting for a year I would lose it. Its not just Tige its freaking MC and CC all of them. Just seems crazy. Enough of my ranting. At least your under warranty.
