I don't know what happens to a boat is wrecked due to a flood. Will boat insurance cover?

Agreed! A lot of those boats look like there is nothing wrong with them -- Go out and pull them in! There will be something wrong with them after they go over the dam. What a waste.

Why didn't Obama save those boats?

That would be stupid to go out there and try to save your boat, youd have a good chance of going over that dam with it. I would guess there wasent too many working boats available to run out and try to catch the ones floating away either. The pics on wakeworld look horrible, I hope insurance covers all that.

I think it is stupid to just let those boats go over the dam.
With as slow as the current is moving - I see the bigger risk in hitting debris. But there are specialized boats that have the surface propellers that can maneuver through debris.
