I have been looking forward to this coming weekend for months. The problem is I am going to Possum Kingdom this weekend with the family and the winds are forecasted to be 15 to 25 all weekend. Does anyone know if there is some good spots where the water could possibly be smooth? Please help.

I can't tell you a good spot but can say to stay away from Hell's Gate if winds are high. Unless you are in that cove you will get beat up around there. -
You can try to go on the other side of sandy beach or up by state park. Possum Kingdom is not known for wakeboarding on windy days.Comment

On a lake like that, even with no wind, you should plan on going early if you want to ride. Spend the rest of the day hanging out or wake surfing.If its not fun, Why do it?Comment
