Cleaning my Tower

I got a quick question for all the experts out there. I have a samson tower and on the crome portion of the tower there is some black marks I can not get off. Does anyone know what I can clean it with to get it off?

If you're talking about the polished aluminum areas, like the board racks, you can first try a product called bleche white. It is intended to be a white wall tire cleaner. It works with butyl acid. Best stuff ever. Look at Wal-Mart or some multi department store in the automotive. If that doesn't work, try 600 grit sandpaper. Then re-polish. Also 0000 steel wool is the bomb too, try that.

Try some bug 'n tar remover if nothing else works. Use Mother's Metal Polish, works great with just a rag and even better with the polishing ball in a drill for tough spots.

Try water and vinegar and a glass safe scoth brite bad... works like money

A little secret is to use WD-40. It works wonders on stains, it will even clean stains on jeans & other clothes with out leaving additional stains.
