My brother-in-law did that to a boat that we owned together. The water wasn't as high as yours, but I replaced the fuel filter and there an anti-siphon valve near the tank that need to be replaced. Not sure if Tige's have one or not. But the engine was half way under water. Everything turned out to be fine and we used the boat for several years with no problems and finally sold it and still see it on the lake.

Have any pictures? The interior depending on how bad could possibly get cleaned up?
When I opened this thread I figured it was going to be some one that left the drain plug OUT not in.....
O ya it also sounds like people that have left the drain plug out and got the started submerged in water it usually goes out within a few months.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

They are made to be pretty much water tight, and the harness connectors that plug into them are weather proof. The ECM should be OK as long as the water wasn't there long enough to rust or corrode terminals and the key wasn't turned on with voltage still present (if there was any) while everything is wet.
The best friend you would have right now is open air and hot sunshine, get the boat uncovered and in direct sunlight with all comparments open.
Now I have heard that galvanic shock can occur inside the engine if it is submerged in water for a long time, with a battery that is charged and also is still hooked up. The current in the battery does something to the water and it grounds at the engine creating the galvanic condition.
Sorry to hear about that, I certainly hope it all works out for. Good luck......Last edited by scoot18; 06-05-2010, 05:10 PM.I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!

wow, ya defiantly start with everything listed above.
Drain oil
Drain trans fluid
Remove spark plugs turn motor over by hand and the spray some Wd40 in the cylinders turn motor over by hand some more.
new fuel filter..
LET IT AIR OUT
Some good mildew/mold cleaner will most likely fix the interior they usually have bleach in them but I don't think you need to worry to much about bleaching the carpet at this point.
Looks like the starter was submerged so I would plan on a new one of those.
Before hooking up any electrical get it aired out and bake in the sun as much as possible.

Was the the ultimate height of the water? If it was, your engine might be OK. Mine was not like yours, but the upholstery was on its way to yours when it was left out for a summer unprotected.
Where I agree that you need to bake and air the out out, you DO want to get in there asap and clean the vinyl. Baking the mildew onto the vinyl is not a good thing! I used many, many magic erasers and hours of elbow grease to get mine presentable.
I would caution you not to expect to have a pristine boat again... it just likely will not happen. I you get back to a decent looking, operational boat, you are waaaay ahead!
Good luck!

I would have vomited, that is extremely painful. Gonna be a ton of work or a ton of money. How much rain did so cal get? What 20"? How could it get waist high on just rain water?
Its ok, you don't need to answer, you have other fish to fry. Lots of good advice, I truly hope you get her back together.
Look at the bright side, if you get it running and reasonable, you can still enjoy lots of great times with your family, until you have to sell it.
