    2000SLM / 2002FSLM Boat Cover

Does anyone know how similar these two boats are? I think the 2002flsm is just an open bow version of the 2000slm.

My cover has about had it, and I found a new Westland custom cover for a 2002fslm. Any ideas how well it'll fit?

I heard Westland was the OEM supplier for covers for a while, if that's the case they must be pretty well made.
The luck is gone, the brain is shot, but the liquor we still got.

I got mine cover from Ameri-Brand, they use the same 9 1/4 oz 100% Acrylic Sunbrella fabric as all the other companies. If I remember right there are two large companies that make the majority of the standard boat covers, I think Westland and Carver. Ameri-Brand uses Carver, so you are at the mercy of the manufacturer.

When I ordered I talked with the lady and wanted to make sure the cover extended beyond the swim deck, and wanted to make sure there was a difference between the 2000, 2002, and 2100 covers (as they were all clumped together). It took a few days for them to figure it all out, Carver had to do some research and pull out the old Tige catalogs to make sure I was getting what I wanted.

Sure enough for just over $500 I got a new Sunbrella cover that fits great and has straps to tie down to the trailer. The quality is great, and the fit is very good. I've only towed with it once and it did just fine (thought I do wish it was a little more snug for towing).

    I'd give Ameri-Brand a call.

Oh and you are correct, the 2002FSLM is the open bow model. The cover has a reinforced area and a snap in the middle of the bow for a pole if you have an open bowed boat. I have had mine for two winters, and not had any issues with the snap rubbing the gelcoat.
