I know people don't like to give out what kind of deal they got on their new boat but can someone give me some ball park info on what I can expect to pay on a 2010 RZ2 (not MSRP). I hope to purchase one in the next 6 to 8 months and dealers really don't want to deal with you when you are that far out from purchasing. If anyone could PM me that would be great.

This seems like a reasonably good deal. I would have to assume that they figure on coming down from that price a little bit. 69K

I bought the same boat and can tell you that Timmy is right. You can sacrifice some things to get to where you need to be price-wise. My advice is to get the financing approved first so the dealer knows you mean business, and then quickly figure out what you want to pay per month. Take that along with your dream setup to the dealer and work from there. You will likely not get everything you want (a tricked out RZ2 could run as high 90,000 or highe). But, the nice thing is that you can add on later as you get a chance. I sacrificed tower speakers, swivel racks (I plan on getting the Samson swivel surf/wake board racks anyway), 6.0L engine, and the transom lights that I covet (also available aftermarket). I also was sure to keep in mind the must haves like Boatmate trailer, vision air seat, surf ballast system, etc. You will be better off on price to buy a 2010 after '11s come out but you may run into difficulty. Many dealers cut down on the amount of stock they brought in for obvious economic reasons and tried to sell more orders than stock. Also, I tried the same thing last year and failed because the colors available didn't meet my wife's discriminating tasteAlso, some dealers get mad when you buy from someone else if they are the closest to you. All things to keep in mind. I'll only say this: if you get it totally loaded, you would be lucky to pay anything under 80K. Hope this helps.

If your dealer will not work with you for 6-8 months, I would say he's a pretty shittty dealer. I stop a couple times per year at a Malibu dealer and every single time, there is NO pressure, there are offers to drive the boats, invites to their events, and kind "thank yous" for looking at thier boats. I have been in there for a few years now and always the same deal. The Tige dealer near me was exactly the same way and ditto for the Malibu dealer a bit north of me. If he doesn't want to entertain your questions or interest the eff him, go somewhere else..it's probably indicative of the service you'll get AFTER the purchase as well.Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
