I've informed the dealership, but given there lack of experience with Tige boats, I'm starting to look elsewhere.....frustrating as it is finally nice in Seattle.
Thats too bad that your missing out on our great weather! I am also but because of the new baby. We are going out on Sammamish on Sunday if you want to get some riding in.

You could try Bakes Marine in Issaquah they are awesome, they have lost the Malibu line so they are service only and they have been around for years.

I use Northwest Marine and Ski up by Lake Tapps which due to the amount of Tige's on lake Tapps he see's alot of them.

Hope it helps and let me know if you want to go out always willing to help out a fellow Tige owner.

      Won't Start

I bought my 22i from Capitol Water Sports 4 years ago. I don't use it much, and just got to 20 hours last year. It was running rough, so I took it in for the 20 service. Didn't get back out last year. I went to fire it up a few weeks ago, and it wouldn't catch....figured fuel, so I added a little more stablaizer and some iso Heet. Used starting fluid to verify it would catch, and it does. So I started digging around. I do not seem to be getting any electricity to the fuel pump. Fuse is good. Any one else have this problem?

do you have a kill switch i would check that first...give it a wiggle and listen for the fuel pumps.

The boat still moves out of idle and I can toodle around 1500rpms. It just cuts out when I push the throttle beyond that point. The local Tige Rep from Motoplex scheduled a test ride with me this weekend. I will pass along all the info. Hopefully we can figure out the issue.

I also checked fuel pressure and all that basic stuff and never could find a real problem. I took a shot in the dark and replaced the high pressure fuel pump and it has run like a raped ape ever since.
I wouldn't say it speeds up, just surges/runs rough beyond 1500 rpm. Regardless of how fast or slow I throttled it, it would run rough beyond 1500rpm. I'm going to test it again tonight. The local Tige Rep from Motoplex is going to come out this weekend to take a look.

I missed your post about it acting wierd at over 1500 rpm.
Your original post was the exact same thing mine was doing.
My vote is still the high pressure fuel pump.

                Tige back and running

Just an update for everyone. My boat is running like a champ and it's been 90+ degree temps here in Seattle....perfect timing.

Because of time and cost, I went ahead and replaced both fuel pumps (High and low) and the filter. My Tige has two fuel pumps, one fills a resovoir and the other draws from it. Therefore, it was unclear which pump was failing and the cost to swap one by one and test, would still have cost me money and more importantly time. For those outside Seattle, we have a very short summer.

Many thanks to the guys at Lynnwood Motoplex (Brian/Chris/John). Not so happy about the bill, since Marine Power would not cover any of the work under warranty because they claim it was negligence on dealership I bought it from for not treating the fuel. Haven't heard back from Tige on any help.

Many thanks for everyone on the forum for your help. Bonus points for those who picked the fuel pump. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Thats great news. Brian and Lynwood Motoplex are earning alot of local respect from Tige Owners. I'm glad We in Seattle have a good dealership to go to for service.

We haven't seen a pic of your new boat have we?
